Event: Symposium of “Freedom of Speech and Hate Speech”

We organized a symposium titled ‘Freedom Speech of and Hate Speech’ consisting of three sessions on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM in Conference Hall Y010. This symposium is organized in collaboration with the International Law Implementation and Research Center of Yasar University and the Faculty of Law. The symposium commemorates the 75th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, marking a significant milestone in the international protection of human rights. Prof. Dr. Işıl Özkan (Faculty Member at Yaşar University Faculty of Law and the Head of International Law Implementation and Research Center) and Prof. Dr. Burcu Dönmez (Dean of Faculty of Law) delivered the opening speech of the symposium.
