Yaşar University International Law Implementation and Research Center organized a panel on “Irregular Migration in International Law and its Consequences.”

Prof. Dr. Işıl Özkan, (Faculty Member at Yaşar University Faculty of Law and the President of International Law Implementation and Research Center) delivered the opening speech of the panel while Prof. Dr. Durmuş Tezcan (Istanbul Kültür University) assumed the role of the mediator.

Prof. Dr. Tezcan also delivered the first speech of the panel with a special focus on the issue of human rights. Other speakers included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Önok (Koç University) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koray Doğan (Dokuz Eylül Üniversity). While Assoc. Prof. Dr. Önok focused on human trafficking, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doğan talked about migrant smuggling.
