Event: Panel – “Evaluations on The Treaty of Lausanne on its 100th Anniversary”

Yaşar University International Law Implementation and Research Center organized an online panel on the October, 25th 2023. The panel is entitled “Evaluations on The Treaty of Lausanne on its 100th Anniversary”. Prof. Dr. Işıl Özkan (Faculty Member at Yaşar University Faculty of Law and the Head of International Law Implementation and Research Center) delivered the opening speech of the panel and assumed the role of the mediator. Lecturers in the panel discussed the effects of the Lausanne Peace Talks on domestic politics; comprehensive evaluations were made on how these effects were interpreted by the Turkish national press, Greek and Western public opinion.
