Panel on “Turkey-Eurasia Relations”

Yaşar University International Law Implementation and Research Center organized a panel on “Turkey-Eurasia Relations” with the participation of Ambassador (ret.) Halil Akıncı and Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Abzal Saparbekuly. Referring to the historical evolution of Turkish-Kazakhstan relations, Ambassador Saparbekuly discussed the current state of relations from different angles. Ambassador Saparbekuly also talked about Kazakhstan’s foreign policy in pre-independence and post-independence periods. Drawing upon Ambassador Saparbekuly’s talk, Ambassador (ret.) Akıncı, Turkey’s former Moscow Ambassador, former Secretary General of Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States and Head of OSCE’s Georgia mission, evaluated Turkey’s Eurasia policy and the increased cooperation between the members of Turkic Speaking States.
